We are looking for a molecular biologist, biochemist, analytical scientist, or chemist who is self-motivated, highly organised and works as part of a team. The project involves the development of HDX-MS strategies to study the eukaryotic purine transporter UapA in native-like environments. In particular, the project will combine hydrogen deuterium exchanger mass spectrometry (HDX-MS) approaches with lipid nanodiscs and biochemical strategies to interrogate the mechanistic details of UapA transporter.
