JOB OVERVIEW

In this job, you’ll deliver our statistics and econometrics provision, teaching groups of international students across our Level 3 and Level 6 programmes. Our class sizes are on average between 18-20 students, and you’ll be given the autonomy to be innovative and engaging to enhance the blended learning experience. There will be material development for you to be involved in. You’ll undertake marking and feedback provision on a formative and summative basis, and you’ll also have the chance to support the development of the student’s independent learning.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A degree in a relevant subject. A PhD degree (or final year of PhD programme) in statistics and/or econometrics
  • Experience in teaching statistics and/or econometrics in UK Higher, Further Education or Sixth Form
  • Ability to work within a Virtual Learning Environment
  • Competence in teaching and administrative IT skills
