The School of Engineering, within the Division of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, offers a range of undergraduate programmes across Biomedical Engineering, Electronic and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. Our teaching in these areas is research-led with significant amounts of practical laboratory-based work undertaken by our students.
We are seeking to appoint a Professor or Reader in Mechanical Engineering to provide research and educational leadership across the thematic area, to undertake research and participate in the delivery of our programme. Furthermore, the post-holder will be expected to provide a significant contribution to the management and operation of the School of Engineering, and provide support and mentorship for colleagues.
