Imperial College London seeks to employ a Lecturer/Assistant Professor or Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Aerial Robotics to join the Department of Aeronautics within the Faculty of Engineering.

Located in the heart of London, Imperial is a multidisciplinary space for education, research, translation and commercialisation, harnessing science and innovation to tackle global challenges. The Aeronautics department has invested significantly in state-of-the-art facilities for micro-air-vehicle manufacturing and testing, including the Brahmal Vasudevan Aerial Robotics Lab, that provides a unique environment to support innovative research. The potential to make milestone contributions that leverage on that investment is of the greatest importance. The appointment will be made at Lecturer/Assistant Professor or Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor, depending on experience.
Applicants should aim at research and teaching excellence, at developing links with the existing research groups within Imperial and should aspire to become world leaders in their fields of expertise. Duties will include teaching at postgraduate and undergraduate levels, independent research, departmental administration, and supervision of postgraduate students. Applicants should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Aeronautical Engineering or other relevant engineering field. They should also have an outstanding research record, as demonstrated by their publications.
