On the 1 August 2026, the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent formed a pioneering new multi-university group called London and South-East (LASE) University Group.
Should you join us, you will be employed by LASE but will work as part of the University of Greenwich academic division, contributing to its distinct strengths, community and identity while also being part of a wider group that brings together the scale, resilience and shared ambition of both universities.
Through LASE we aim to deliver outstanding education, impactful research, and meaningful regional and global impact.
The school of Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying to join our Built Environment portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an academic or experienced industry professional to contribute to the continued development of Quantity Surveying education, research and professional practice. You will deliver innovative, research-informed teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate Quantity Surveying programmes, integrating industry practice, real-world case studies, digital technologies, site visits and project-based learning. You will also contribute to research activities, curriculum development, student support, dissertation supervision, employability and professional accreditation.
The role provides opportunities to engage with industry, employers and professional bodies, as well as contribute to research, consultancy, CPD, degree apprenticeships and external funding.
Chartered membership of RICS is highly desirable, and candidates with strong professional or industry experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates without a PhD but with extensive relevant industry experience will also be considered.
Join our collaborative Built Environment portfolio and help shape the next generation of Quantity Surveying professionals, while contributing to an inclusive, innovative and industry-connected learning environment.
