The Department of Operations, Technology, Events and Hospitality Management is an ambitious, large, and diverse department within the Business School. With over 1,500 students and 60 academic staff, The Department delivers a wide range of courses covering undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and commercial programmes, including the sector-leading degree apprenticeships programme - Digital & Technology Solutions. 

Programme growth has led to an exciting opportunity for you to join the team.  We are looking for an academic who will support high quality teaching and learning across a range of subject areas for the degree/postgraduate/degree including Business Analytics, Project Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management.

We are looking to appoint a Programme Support Tutor to work with the leadership team and students to improve student outcomes, with a particular focus on international learners' needs and equality, diversity and inclusion.

About You

You will

  • have a degree/equivalent in a subject area related to the department's programmes
  • have experience of working with learners as coach, advisor or mentor to improve individual performance and wellbeing
  • be able to work collaboratively and proactively with academics and professional services colleagues
  • have excellent team working, communication, organisation and digital skills
