This is an excellent opportunity to work in an important curatorial role in a leading arts organisation, within a friendly and team-focused culture.
The Curator of Exhibitions works closely with the Head of Henry Moore Collections and Programmes and a small team of curatorial, registrarial and conservation colleagues to initiate and deliver a rich, inclusive and diverse programme of national and international exhibitions, loans and associated publications and events based around the Foundation’s Henry Moore collections, to inspire and inform a wide range of audiences globally.
With a degree in the history of art or museum studies, the successful candidate will bring proven experience in a museum or gallery environment, ideally gained in a role working with art collections and/or exhibition organisation. The post-holder will have a strong visual sense and excellent writing and proofreading skills. Great flexibility and willingness to travel are essential. Fluency in a foreign language would be an advantage.
