The Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to lead and develop our knowledge exchange and public engagement activities.
The Opportunity:
You will work with members of the executive team and with staff and students across the Centre to develop a diverse range of public engagement and knowledge exchange activities and events. You will ensure the ongoing development and evaluation of our engagement strategy and activities. Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will work to develop and maintain networks and collaborative relationships. You will generate and share Centre news across social media platforms and the website and produce content for non-academic audiences.
