The Sportspark at the University of East Anglia is one of the largest sports complexes in the UK (http://sportspark.co.uk/).
We seek a self-motivated individual to join our team of Department Heads in delivering the highest standards of customer care. You will manage all front-line points of contact with our customers, including the front desk team of Customer Service Advisors, the Membership Team and Marketing & Communications Team.
You must have a marketing degree (e.g. CIM or IDM Diploma) or equivalent qualification and/or substantial experience in a directly comparable role, together with demonstrable success in improving net sales growth and/or customer growth through innovative sales techniques. Your proven track record of developing and implementing integrated marketing and promotional plans to meet or exceed targets will be supported by your demonstrable customer relations and team management skills.
When acting as Duty Manager for the Sportspark you will ensure the efficient operation and delivery of the highest standards of safety and customer care across the premises.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
