The University of Sheffield International College and its programmes are provided by Study Group in collaboration with the University of Sheffield.  We are currently looking for a Law Tutor to join The University of Sheffield International College.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this job, you will deliver our Law provision, teaching groups of international students across our Level 3 and/or Level 6 programmes. Our class sizes in the college are usually between 18-20 students. The core teaching materials are provided, however, you will be given the autonomy to be innovative and engaging to enhance the learning experience. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Law module pages on the VLE (Blackboard). You will undertake marking and feedback provision on a formative and summative basis, and you will have the chance to support the development of the student’s independent learning.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A Bachelor's degree in Law or a related subject. A Master’s qualification is required to teach on the pre-masters programmes. (Essential)
• Teaching qualification (Desirable)
• Experience in teaching Law in UK higher, further or sixth form education (Essential)
• Assessment marking experience at a minimum of level 3 (Essential)
• Experience in working with international students (Desirable)
• Experience in module co-ordination or other module administration (Desirable)
