We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, collaborative, and high performing academic in Education who has previous experience of partnership working to support both school based, and onsite provision. The successful candidate will be based within the Institute of Childhood and Education and will work with and coordinate the team working on LTU’s re-accreditation work.
We are looking for candidates who will be able to successfully support teacher training and development partnerships with a range of school, Multi Academy, Diocesan and other educational organisations, in order to advance and contribute to the University’s Initial Teacher Education programmes. This post will require the successful candidate to lead on forming and consolidating such partnerships, taking a leading role in design and role out of mentor training, and liaison with governmental departments, approved providers of ECF and NPQs and regulatory bodies.
We welcome applications from candidates who have recent experience of managing academic partnerships and teaching in the area of Teacher Training and CPD. The ability to work as an effective team member, contributing to the provision of high-quality teaching across undergraduate and post graduate provision is essential. Candidates should be prepared to travel through the region as part of the role.
