School of Infection and Immunity
Salary: Grade 6/7, £31,502 - £35,308/£38,474 - £43,155 per annum
The School of Infection and Immunity are looking to appoint two Research Associates working in the Immunobiology research area under the supervision of Professor Gerard Graham and Professor John Campbell. You will make essential contributions to a research programme focused on immune cell therapy to target cancers. This project is funded by Swarm Oncology Ltd.
The successful candidate will have extensive skills in cell biology and immunology techniques and have relevant experience relating to the project, be self-motivated in designing and executing experiments, and proven track record in the analysis of complex data.
The School of Infection and Immunity is one of eight Schools in the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences which is the largest of the University’s four Colleges. The School comprises scientists and clinicians working together to promote and develop research, drug discovery and improvements in patient care. It is committed to excellence in graduate and post-graduate teaching and developing the next generation of researchers.
We welcome applications from candidates who hold a Scottish Credit and Qualification level 10 (Honours degree or equivalent) in Immunology or other relevant subject. May be working towards a post-graduate qualification such as a Masters (Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 11) or PhD (Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12).
These positions are full time and have funding up to 31 January 2026.
