Applications are invited for a Data Analyst to work on a UKRI MRC-funded record linkage study. The study includes researchers at Imperial College London, Edinburgh University, and University College London. The post is situated with the Neonatal Data Analysis Unit within the Neonatal Medicine Research Group led by Professor Neena Modi.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The principal purpose of the post is to undertake record linkage and analysis of the National Neonatal Research Database (NNRD) and education databases across the UK, as part of a UKRI MRC-funded programme grant 'Preterm birth as a determinant of neurodevelopment and cognition in children: mechanisms and causal evidence'. You will also provide data management and analytical support to other aspects of the programme grant. This post is ideal for a self-motivated person and offers opportunities for career development.
Essential requirements:
Prior experience in data management, analyses and record-linkage is essential as is knowledge of statistical software packages and programming. Experience of NHS Trusted Research Environments would be highly advantageous.
You should hold a relevant MSc or equivalent degree or PhD and have substantial experience in record-linkage.
