We are advertising for both Assistant Professor and Associate Professor - Education OR Education and Research focused, however, there are 3 posts available.

Job Summary

The Department of Management has a collegial culture, with over 80 faculty organised across four subject groups: Procurement and Operations Management; Organisation, Work and Employment; Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation; and Business and Labour Economics. Research networks flourish within and across these Groups, with research centres situated in the Department, across the School and connected to the University’s research institutes. The Department has a strong and supportive culture for research and education excellence. Early Career faculty are particularly supported with a well-developed Academic Development Programme. 

You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can join us as Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management to take up the MSc Supply Chain Management Programme Director role in Dubai. The successful candidate will make significant contributions to the launch of our new MSc Supply Chain Management programme in Dubai, as well as to the research, leadership, learning and teaching, and business and community engagement strategy in the Department. Please note that this post is based at our University of Birmingham Dubai campus and will require teaching in the evenings and weekends to suit the part time needs of the students.
