We have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Nurse to carry out nursing duties for equine and farm animal patients, to assist with the practical instruction of veterinary students, and to give general assistance to clinicians with hospital and ambulatory cases.
The role is offered with a salary of between £24,285.00 - £27,929.00 per annum depending on experience, and an abundance of benefits such as:
The right candidate will have practical experience of equine nursing, good horse handling skills and an understanding of veterinary work.
A passion for nursing is a must, along with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, students and clients. The ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision is essential.
You will be required to take part in an emergency on-call rota, covering one in three to five weekends, and one night a week, for which you will receive an additional payment.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
