Internationalisation is a key component of DMU’s growth plans and the University has in place an ambitious strategy to support the next phase of our development on International Recruitment and Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships.
Role
As International Administrator you will have an important role in supporting the coordination of the University’s engagement with overseas academic partnerships and international recruitment. You will work closely with an expanding team to support the development, management and operation of collaborative partnerships including organising inward and outward visits and central administrative support to the team. You will be responsible for the team’s procurement, financial monitoring and reporting function, using the university’s SAP system and work closely with faculties and finance partners to ensure partner payments are processed. You will also contribute to the team’s communications strategy, in particular through liaison with internal and external stakeholders and maintenance of the international web pages.
The post holder will report to the Director of International and provide PA support to the Director of International and other senior members of the team including managing complex travel arrangements, inward and outward visits and diary management.
The role is on a full time (37 hours per week), permanent basis.
Ideal Candidate
This role would suit a motivated self-starter with a global outlook looking to work in a fast-paced role/environment. You will have excellent organizational skills, experience of administering financial systems and the ability to communicate in a variety of ways to a range of audiences and backgrounds. You should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
