Job Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Manager to work within the Department of Radiotherapy Clinical Trials Unit which undertakes research trials in radiotherapy and urological cancers. 

The successful applicant will provide data management support to the Academic Uro-Oncology Unit, with responsibility for the collection, co-ordination and input of clinical trial data on both trial case report forms and electronic database systems. 

Key Requirements

The successful applicant will provide data management support to the Academic Uro-Oncology Unit, with responsibility for the collection, co-ordination and input of clinical trial data on both trial case report forms and electronic database systems.

Applicants will be educated to at least A-Level.   They must have excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure highly effective and appropriate communication both with patients and with external partners. 

This is a demanding role and applicants must be organised, self motivated and able to manage complex studies, planning their work and competing priorities around a busy clinical unit.  They should be logical and methodical, possess strong problem solving skills and be fluent in the use of MS Office applications.
