Job Overview: 

University College Birmingham's School of Engineering, Digital & Sustainable Construction provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate. 

Our Digital department is experiencing rapid growth, with highly successful FE and Undergraduate courses that are currently attracting strong enrolment numbers. Furthermore, we are thrilled to launch an exciting new MSc program in September. As a result, we are seeking an Associate Lecturer – Pastoral to join our team during this exhilarating period to assist us in meeting the demand. 

As a member of our team, you will have access to the best resources and cutting-edge equipment in the industry, working alongside a group of exceptional academics from various sectors. We offer a stimulating and inspiring work environment that is second to none. For the right individual, we provide a chance for a highly motivated self-starter to join us from the start and actively participate in supporting curriculum delivery with our curriculum experts. You will also collaborate with our industry partners to secure work and industry placements. 

As part of a team of lecturers and senior lecturers, you will help deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive learning opportunities that enable students to achieve their learning objectives, ensuring that they are fully prepared for the workforce and can embark on high-value careers when they leave us. 

We expect that the ideal candidate for this position will have a comprehensive CPD record and continue undertaking industry placements and developing their professional CPD.
