We are seeking an Electrical Technician with good electrical skills to join a busy Workshop team.
The main work will involve servicing, setting and maintaining standards and small fixed electrical installations. The post holder will also assist with general onsite maintenance and PAT testing. It is required that the successful applicant will join the on-call team's rota (on a one in five basis) that provides 24-hour emergency support. An additional payment is offered for this support role.
The post holder should be educated to at least City and Guilds part three or equivalent level, qualified under the City & Guilds 18th edition IEE Regulations. You should have substantial experience in electrical wiring, preferably within a facilities oriented role in a scientific, laboratory or technical research environment as well as excellent fault detecting skills across a range of systems. Good customer services skills and proven ability to keep accurate records are essential.
