The University of Nottingham is inviting applications for a Clinical Professor or Clinical Associate Professor in Medical Oncology to lead a programme of independent translational research and provide academic leadership in cancer research. We aim to attract a translational/early phase researcher with a track record of high quality cancer research. In particular, you will bring existing research strengths to undertake your own research programme developing novel therapeutic strategies within your field of interest. You will deliver excellent cancer care through the Nottingham University Hospitals Oncology service and will contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within the School of Medicine.
This is a permanent post. Hours of work are full-time (40 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 24 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. The job plan will encompass 5 University and 5 NHS programmed activities, or equivalent for part time candidates.
