Professor, Health Services Research (Nursing, Midwifery or Allied Health Professions)
The Centre for Care Excellence for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health is an innovative collaborative partnership between University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) and Coventry University. The Centre is seeking to recruit a new professor who will be appointed jointly by the University and the Trust to help lead the further development and success of the Centre. Key objectives will be to enhance patient care through research, practice development, education and innovation.
We are seeking a motivated, experienced and passionate individual from a nursing, midwifery or allied health professions background who will use their expertise to generate evidence-based projects, grant applications, high quality research outputs and practice improvement. These activities will inform practice, education and research within UHCW, the university and beyond, to create national and international influence. The post holder will work closely with other university Research Centre staff, teams across UHCW and colleagues within Faculty. They will have evidence of embedded clinical academic research and be able to meet the requirements of the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
