Counselling & Psychotherapy at Warwick is a successful, and growing curriculum area with a reputation for quality; delivered by a nationally recognised team. We are seeking to appoint a new member of staff to join our dynamic, dedicated, and enthusiastic Counselling & Psychotherapy team to teach across a range of Counselling and Psychotherapy courses. You will join a dynamic and growing team delivering a suite of programmes from undergraduate to post graduate studies as well as other continuing professional development courses and short courses.
The programmes are moving to a more Integrative therapeutic base to reflect an evolving field and meet the needs of the diverse and sometimes complex needs of clients. Successful applicants will need to be able therefore to deliver teaching and learning on Integrative counselling and psychotherapeutic accredited programmes, while demonstrating capacity to teach on our remaining person-centred programmes.
You will also be responsible for aspects of course administration, student placement and curriculum development.
To be successful you will have excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills, relevant teaching experience, and the ability to facilitate counselling and psychotherapy training groups. You will be an experienced psychotherapist or counsellor. You will need registration with BACP or UKCP.
Please indicate on your application if you are seeking work on specific days of the week and if you are able to vary these days as required in future years where this may be needed.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
