Opportunity Overview

As our IT Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for delivering service excellence for our staff and students.

You will be supported by a fantastic service management team and have the opportunity and autonomy to design and deliver a service that meets the expectations of our customers and utilises AI and automation to increase our efficiency and customise the user experience.

You will have access to a number of industry leading Service Management toolsets and be joining us at an exciting time of significant transformation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide input into Digital IT strategic planning in relation to Services and Support, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Lead, motivate and manage the performance of the L1 and L2 Service functions, to deliver a high performing service that is customer focused and works to an agreed service scope and service levels. 
  • Create a high performing team by providing support, coaching and mentoring to all members of the Support Team; ensuring that all objectives and commitments are fulfilled in line with expectations, agreements, and standards. 
  • Develop business case and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.

We are currently looking for someone to join Digital Services. As a team we are known for keeping the show on the road! We have a variety of expertise, including Desktop and Audio-Visual Services, Applications Support, Data Centre and Operations, Procurement and Asset Management as well as Technical Services for our student campus at MediaCityUK.
