The Estates and Facilities Department is a multi-disciplinary department providing a comprehensive estate planning and management service and a range of facilities support services. The Department is seeking to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to work as part of a team to ensure the facilities on offer to those attending the University are of the highest standard.
Based in Chester, the role holder will work on projects across all sites and be responsible for their planning, budgeting and delivery, reporting into the Head of Estates Development and the Director of Estates and Facilities. The role is integral to the department and wider University, and the post holder will work with various teams, covering projects, sustainability, and maintenance.
You will hold a Degree in Business Surveying, or related field, and demonstrate experience of working in a similar Surveying capacity. Also required are excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritising busy workloads within a service level focused environment. Extensive experience with AutoCAD is also essential.
