This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team creating and applying evidence and taking this pioneering Olympic Legacy initiative into its next phase of development.
We’re looking for someone who wants to combine programme management with research and has a track record of successful research and project management. You thrive on working collaboratively to address complex challenges with a range of cross-sector partners.
This role is based at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC) at the heart of the Olympic Legacy Park. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio overseeing our innovative co-location model, Sheffield’s whole system approach to increasing physical activity, and will lead relevant research projects.
As NCSEM Programme Manager, you will work collaboratively with experienced colleagues from a range of organisations to deliver the Move More Strategy. You will have a critical role in realising Sheffield’s ambition to increase physical activity levels and become happier, healthier and more connected city.
As a Senior Research Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced researchers in multidisciplinary teams and develop your own programme of research and consultancy projects within the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of grant capture and leading research and consultancy bids including relevant expertise in a discipline aligned to physical activity, wellbeing and public health.
