The University of Worcester Library Services are seeking an outstanding candidate, to join our award-winning service as part of our Academic Engagement Team.
We are looking for a candidate dedicated to helping students develop the academic skills and confidence they need to succeed at university. This role will suit individuals who are able to adapt their teaching to meet the differing needs of student cohorts and delivery styles. You will be a strong library and information management advocate, encouraging staff and students to engage with and use the full range of library services, including helping them to research and make effective use of a diverse set of information sources, tools and technologies. You will work closely with academic colleagues to embed library teaching into their curriculum and develop resource lists that support and complement teaching. You will also be part of the popular askalibrarian enquiries team, helping our users to navigate our resources.
This post will work primarily with the Schools of Arts and Humanities, forming part of the wider subject cluster of Education, Culture and Society. The postholder will also take the lead in developing and promoting our services for research students across the University.

The Library Services operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community.

From 1 August 2023, the salary range for this role will increase to £29,605 - £36,023, with the opportunity to progress to £39,348.
