The role of Associate Dean Student Experience and Outcomes in the School of Engineering and Computing is a new post that represents the opportunity to lead on a programme of strategic change underpinning the student experience and graduate outcomes in the heart of Lancashire.
The Associate Dean Student Experience and Outcomes is accountable to the Dean for meeting University targets at School and subject levels on all University education metrics, including NSS results and graduate employment. (S)he will provide strong and inspirational leadership for the School to enable it to achieve its education goals and to support the University’s mission to be recognised as a leading UK university delivering real-world, practice-based education and student experience. Working closely with the PVC Students and Teaching the post holder will direct the creation, delivery and review of the School policies to enable and ensure the development of inspirational and innovative learning and teaching, sustained excellence in the student experience, and strategic renewal of the School’s taught portfolio and curriculum.
The candidate will work closely with other Associate Deans in the School to promote, and encourage student centered, graduate outcomes focused curriculum and learning environment across the new school.
