The School of Psychology at the University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a new member to the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the programme team of the Trent Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology, based at the University of Lincoln. The Trent programme developed through a partnership of Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust (LPFT), The University of Lincoln, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and The University of Nottingham. The programme currently will have an intake of 32 trainees in 2023.
The successful candidate for this post will support the Co-Director (Academic and Research) in the organisation and delivery of the academic and research components of the programme. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to teaching and research activities on the programme including the supervision of doctoral level research projects.
Following recent expansions, the University of Lincoln has positioned itself as a major provider of applied psychology healthcare training courses in the East Midlands and in addition to the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology we provide training for BPS approved PWP training and specialist CBT training for IAPT services. Through providing high-quality mental health training and research, and by supporting the NHS to develop a highly skilled mental health workforce, the School of Psychology is making a significant contribution to both local mental health services and to the well-being of the local community and is placed at the centre of mental health developments in the area.
