Sat within our School of Health and Social Care, our Nursing subject community is home to over 750 students. Our well-established courses continue to grow and offers a unique pathway for the next generation of nurses. Furthermore, our teams work hard to build long lasting partnerships within the sector to ensure our student s have the best experience when out on placement. Currently based at our Oxstalls Campus, you will have access to all the latest technology to support with a proactive and hands on teaching style. With technologies such as, Anatomage tables, virtual reality headset and Laerdal simulation manakins (just to name a few,) you will you have the confidence to know you are offering 1st class teaching.
We want learning to be accessible to all and use a range of technologies to support this. It is planned that teaching on this course will start at Oxstalls campus, then move to the brand-new City Campus in Gloucester in September 2024. This vibrant new campus will be at the heart of the regeneration of the city centre, bringing an iconic building back to life as a modern centre for teaching, learning and community partnerships.

Our nursing programmes offer an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable nursing workforce for our valued Gloucestershire partners. You will have the opportunity to contribute to nursing programmes, utilising the module leadership role and implementation of the future nurse standards.
As Senior lecturer, you will work closely with the Academic Subject Leader, Academic Course Leader, Strategic Lead for Partnerships and Placements and our collaborative partners to deliver the vision for nurse education in Gloucestershire.
