Department
The Department of Education is seeking to appoint a Curriculum Specialist in Physics Education to join the internationally recognised University of York Science Education Group (UYSEG). To complement our existing expertise, we wish to appoint someone with experience of teaching physics at secondary school level. The post is available from 1 May 2023 to 29 February 2024 at 0.6FTE (three days per week).
Role
The person appointed will work closely with the leader of the University of York Science Education Group and the members of the BEST team, Alistair Moore and Peter Fairhurst.
You will have extensive classroom experience, together with experience of planning and managing projects. Ideally, you will also have been involved in science education beyond the classroom, such as working at a University, on the design of curriculum materials, or in examining.
