About the Role:
The Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine & Social Care is the largest faculty in the university and constantly pursues innovative approaches to develop and deliver curricula to meet the ever-changing educational needs of the Health and Social Care workforce. Our faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, from foundation degrees to doctoral study.
We’re recruiting for a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery Cambridgeshire at our Cambridge campus. This post will include planning and managing learning and teaching for both pre- and post-registration midwifery students, facilitating online and face to face teaching (including simulated clinical skills), acting as an academic assessor for the pre-registration midwifery course, link activity to support practice-based learning, as well as contributing to the research, innovation, and knowledge exchange activities of the School and wider Faculty.
With a Master’s degree, or first degree with significant clinical experience, and ongoing evidence of CPD, you will also hold a current registration with the UK NMC as a midwife. You’ll have extensive experience of contemporary clinical practice and / or clinical education.
