Established in 1889, and with our roots stretching back even further, Morley College London is one of the country's oldest and largest specialist providers of adult education. We provide long-term, sustainable and affordable programmes of lifelong learning across three centres – North Kensington, Chelsea and Waterloo – including 16-19 provision at North Kensington and Chelsea.

About the role

You will support the Business Partner to provide a high quality, efficient and timely people service acting as first point of contact for all employee relations casework and advice. You will also guide and support managers through formal processes as well as advise on policy and procedures, terms and conditions and employment law ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

You will be responsible for implementing changes to pay and terms and conditions and will work with the administration team on recruiting and onboarding.

To be successful in this role you will have a successful track record of providing HR advice to leaders and managers and have up to date knowledge of terms and conditions of employment and employment legislation.

You will be able to proactively solve problems and seek solutions with the ability to influence and persuade others.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have experience of recruitment and selection ensuring that diversity and inclusion is embedded in your approach.
