We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Project Administrator to deliver high quality and professional project support. You will join the team at the Centre for Medicines Discovery, Nuffield Department of Medicine.
Reporting to Programme manager, you will be responsible for supporting the operational management of the CAIPM project portfolio and playing a central role in liasing with the CAIPM academics within Oxford, in addition to collaborating partners. You will support the Scientific Director and Programme Manager in monitoring the project, to ensure that the project objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved. You will play a key role on all project committees, which will involve organizing and attending meetings and extensive email and phone communications.
It is essential that you are educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience, and have experience of administration or project management in an academic environment. You will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills, a high level of self-motivation and thrive in a busy environment. You will be expected to work under the general direction of the Scientific Director and Programme Manager but will be responsible for your own work on a day-today basis so it is essential that the you have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
