About the role
The MLC is recruiting a Research Assistant to provide technical support in their busy Genotyping Core facility. The role will involve working within the Genotyping group and in close collaboration with the Molecular and Cellular Biology team, and activities will involve a broad range of molecular biology techniques.
We are looking for a Research Assistant who has previous experience in qPCR. Experience of working in an ISO9001:2015 environment will be an advantage, but not essential as training can be provided. You will implement a range of molecular protocols (preparation of DNA, PCR, qPCR, DNA sequencing analysis and pyrosequencing) in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer focus.
