Job description:
The Role
We are seeking a Research Associate with proven expertise in studies of the translation apparatus using data processing. You will help develop AI-based automation strategies to facilitate studying hibernation factors across living species.
Our lab research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of hibernation or dormancy in microbial species, with a particular emphasis on the protein synthesis machinery within cells. This work will involve investigating the roles of hibernation factors in bacterial cells and elucidating the mechanisms underlying their actions.
This is a part time ( 20% FTE) 7.4 hours per week, fixed term post for the duration of 12 months.
