We are looking for an excellent administrator to join our friendly and supportive Research Strategy and Funding Team in the Medical Sciences Divisional Office in the University of Oxford. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to vital support for our outstanding and transformative Medical Sciences research at Oxford. Applicants who are interested in building a successful career in research support or management will gain ideal experience of the full range of research activity in our world-leading, internationally-recognised Medical Sciences Division.
In this role you will support the wide-ranging work of the Research Strategy and Funding Team. You will have responsibility for administering the internal research funding schemes, supporting external funding bids, supporting the advancement of a positive research culture, and organising internal and external events. You will have excellent project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise sound and measured judgement and discretion. Outstanding organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to handle the demanding and varied workload.
This is a permanent post which is offered on a full time basis, although part time (minimum 0.8 FTE) will be considered.
