Lancaster University is looking to appoint a Product Development Officer, for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, to join the Marketing Team within the division of External Relations.
At an exciting time to be working with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, this newly created role will be providing the research and insight to help us understand which academic programmes we should offer and how to revise our existing portfolio. The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences consists of nine academic departments, each of which have ambitions for growth and/or diversification of the programmes offered and the cohorts of students studying them.
This role is ideally suited to those with experience in drawing upon a range of qualitative and quantitative data sources, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in it, in order to draw conclusions and make recommendations to departments within the faculty. The ability to develop positive, productive, and collaborative working relationships is essential as you will need to work with members of our academic and professional services colleagues across the University.
The University holds an Athena SWAN Charter Bronze Award, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education. We are committed to promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across the University, and supporting family-friendly, flexible and agile working policies on an individual basis, where possible.
This role could be undertaken as a blended position with a mix of working remotely through MS teams and working on campus at least 2 days a week, although solely working on campus is also an option.
For an informal discussion please contact Catriona Forbes (c.forbes@lancaster.ac.uk), Product Development and Market Insight Manager
