This full time role is available 1 September 2023 until 31 August 2025.
The role
You will be to support the delivery of modules in both German language and German culture, literature, history or society. Language teaching will range from beginners’ classes to final year Advanced classes. The successful candidate will have native or near native expertise in written and oral German language. Ability to contribute to teaching on the MA in Translation Studies would be an advantage. There may be the opportunity of offering your own research-led module in the second year of the post.

The Department of Languages, Cultures and Visual Studies is a welcoming and dynamic Department, which incorporates seven language disciplines [Chinese, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish], the Language Centre [where many more languages are offered] and Art History and Visual Culture.
