We currently have an exciting role of part-time Associate Lecturer in Sports Rehabilitation available. The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the development of all facets of Sports Rehabilitation within the subject group and to the wider portfolio of the School/University, as appropriate.
Having a first degree is a pre-requisite whilst having the relevant governing body membership (BASRaT) would be advantageous. The successful candidate should be a current practicing clinician and offer insight into applying their clinical knowledge into teaching. Ideally, you will have a teaching qualification and membership of the Higher Education Academy (HEA); a PhD/Professional Doctorate or willingness to complete within dedicated timescales would be advantageous.
The successful candidate should demonstrate awareness of current developments in Sports Rehabilitation education and as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between academic, research initiatives and employers. Relevant teaching and programme delivery experience, as well as being able to undertake appropriate subject specific research and/or advanced creative practice and/or enterprise activity is essential.
