Working as a part of the Student Immigration Team, you will assist colleagues as Student Immigration and Compliance Administrator in the day-to-day management of immigration and compliance processes to ensure the School maintains its Student Visa sponsor status.
You will be an experienced and efficient administrator with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, preferably having experience processing Student Visa CAS applications. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of using a range of administrative systems & reporting tools to perform tasks in a timely and professional manner, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Training will be provided if you do not have previous CAS applications processing experience.
Ideally you will have experience working in a Higher Education environment and be familiar with student records systems & databases. Experience working in Higher Education administration, including HR, legal and immigration-related positions is desirable.
The successful applicant will hold an undergraduate degree, equivalent professional qualification or equivalent professional experience. The post holder will have knowledge of relevant legislation, experience of understanding & interpreting external regulations and be able to make recommendations to accommodate policy changes. You will have familiarity with the HRIS system (or similar), including analysis of data and reporting functions.
The post is full-time and permanent.
The salary will be on the Professional Services scale Grade 3, in the range £28,053 - £31,519 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms & conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
