An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and skilled individual to join our team at LSBU as a Data & Insight Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing reporting capabilities, data management procedures, and data analysis expertise across Marketing, Recruitment, and Communications.

Your responsibilities will involve blending diverse data sources, identifying trends, and reporting key findings to support the regular impact monitoring of various activities and development of forecasting models. With a customer-focused approach, you will utilise your proficiency in data analysis, communication, and service delivery to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

Working closely with multiple teams and directorates we are looking for an individual with the following skills and knowledge.

  • Experience working with extensive datasets and utilising different analysis methods to generate impactful findings.
  • Demonstrable ability to produce professionally written, recommendation-driven reports based on market research findings and conducting briefings to stakeholders.
  • Skilled in monitoring trends and reporting against a regular set of KPIs that drive data-informed decision making processes.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and other data protection procedures relating to the storage, retention, and use of personal data.

You will identify and drive forward improvement initiatives, conduct in-depth analysis, and communicate actionable insights to empower local teams and senior stakeholders, while contributing to the dynamic landscape of student recruitment and insight.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week) and permanent with 3 days a week on campus and 2 days working from home.
