The Society is a registered charity and the senior national Learned Society in Britain concerned with the conservation, research and dissemination of knowledge of the material remains of the past http://www.sal.org.uk/ The Society consists of 3,000 Fellows, drawn from scholars and practitioners working across the cultural heritage sector and is based in a Grade II* listed building in Piccadilly.
The Society is seeking to appoint a Building and IT Manager. This is an exciting role responsible for managing the operational activities of the Society at Burlington House including Information Technology, facilities management, health and safety management and security. This role is key to the Society, especially as we increase our offering to the public.
