Full Time, Fixed Term - Researcher
The School of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University has a lively research environment that produces world-leading research that addresses social, environmental and architectural challenges locally, nationally and internationally. Its research covers a broad spectrum of fields, including architectural engineering, low carbon building, development and emergency practice, vernacular architecture, architectural conservation and design.
Building on its existing research capacity and expertise, the School has identified a number of strategic themes that will form some of its key areas of research engagement over the next few years. One of these strategic themes is computational design, machine learning and designer-computer interaction in architecture.
The School seeks to appoint a Research Fellow who will engage in original research in this area, while assisting members of staff in developing a comprehensive research agenda, obtaining external research funding, building a research team, and producing research outputs.
