We are seeking a theoretical Research Associate To help produce independent and original research within the Quantum Optics and Laser Science Group, submit publications to refereed journals, and help with teaching and administration within the Group.
The post holder will work on the EPSRC grant project “Recovering quantum information in a noisy quantum channel”. The main tasks of the post holders will be
The duties will include identifying concrete problems and developing new theoretical protocols for quantum information recovery and implementation schemes to reduce/cancel errors in performing quantum computation. In this project, the post holder will work with Professor Myungshik Kim and PhD students and other postdocs in his group.
