The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to participate and drive forward research on the interface between Mathematics and Healthcare as part of Prof Tsaneva-Atanasova’s research group. The successful applicant will work with Prof Tsaneva-Atanasova in relation to her research but also contributing to research management and other activity as needed.
About you
Applicants will possess a PhD in applied mathematics, statistics, physics or related subject. The successful applicant will have expertise in Mathematic modelling and analysis and/or AI/Data Science. The successful applicant will also be able to work collaboratively, supervise the work of others and act as team leader as required. Applicants will be able to determine and analyse relationships between data variables, model parameters, and the overall system’s behaviour. Algorithms will be developed and implemented to turn these ideas into computational tools which can then be used by a range of stakeholders.
