Applications are invited from people with Social Work or related qualifications and expertise to teach in the Division of Social Work and Social Care. The Division offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at pre- and post-qualifying levels. We are seeking to appoint two full time lecturers at grade 9 to support our growing postgraduate and undergraduate pre-qualifying provision. There may also be opportunities to contribute to the development of our continuous professional development programme.
We have excellent relationships with partner organisations and anticipate further expansion over the next few years.
You must demonstrate enthusiasm for your speciality and a willingness to be innovative and creative while making use of development opportunities to improve self and the School. In addition to teaching and learning responsibilities, the ideal candidate would possess a Doctorate in a relevant field and will be expected to have a research track record and continue to be research active.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to student recruitment, programme/module leadership and development, and liaise with partner organisations. . Additionally, you will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge in your specialist area and direct professional social work experience and expertise in the area of mental health would be advantageous.
