We have an exciting opportunity in the cements@sheffield research group for someone with a passion for cements looking to use their skills to decarbonise cement production for a net-zero world.
In this work, led by Dr Theodore Hanein, the post-holder will develop novel processes and binders as well as re-establish and advance currently unappreciated binders of the past - for the improvement of MgO-based cements.
Applicants should hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD (or have equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline and with an understanding of cement chemistry.
