An opportunity has arisen in the Clinical and Applied Psychology Unit within the Psychology Department for a lecturer to join the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme. The role involves teaching, research, and administrative duties, within an established team. An interest in teaching clinically relevant statistics would be an advantage.
You will also act as Personal Tutor and Research Supervisor for DClinPsy trainees. You will be expected to work collaboratively across the Unit and provide academic support for DClinPsy trainees through all aspects of the training programme.
You will conduct research at an internationally competitive level and disseminate findings through high-quality journals and other appropriate outputs. You will seek and obtain appropriate funding to support research activities. As a teacher you will play a key role in maintaining the department’s reputation for excellent teaching by designing, delivering, and assessing undergraduate and postgraduate-level courses in clinical psychology related topics.
