About the role
The School of Psychology and Social Work is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Cognitive Psychologist to join the Thinking, Imagination and Memory (TIMe) research group at the University of Hull. The successful candidate must demonstrate a firm commitment to research-led teaching and will be expected to teach, supervise and module co-ordinate on our BSc Psychology programme as well as supervise postgraduate research projects at Masters and PhD level.
About you (requirements)
You will have an emerging track record of publishing in established international journals, enabling you to further enhance the world-class research and teaching within Cognitive Psychology. You will have a vision and drive to develop an internationally competitive research portfolio and a clear view of how your research can be translated to achieve societal impact. Experience in gaining competitive research grants, as well as in establishing collaborations, would be advantageous. We are particularly interested in candidates who can further strengthen our Thinking, Imagination and Memory (TIMe) research group (https://www.hull.ac.uk/work-with-us/research/groups/cognition-and-development).
