This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious research and engagement programme on an emerging topic of strategic importance to UK and global climate action. As Research Assistant you will support the Business model team to collect and analyse a combination of qualitative and quantitative data on business models for carbon removal.
Your duties will involve supporting workshops with stakeholders, documenting insights from workshops by observing stakeholder interactions, and designing a database to track carbon removal ventures and their business models over time. This is a unique chance to work in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, focussed on providing solutions to a pressing environmental issue. Throughout you will have the opportunity to engage with and provide advice to industry, government, and regulators.
The successful candidate will have completed or nearly completed an MA/MSc in business, innovation, sustainability or a related discipline, or have a commensurate level of experience. You will be familiar with the existing literature and research on business models for sustainability in the GGR field and will have the ability to conduct independent research and work with both quantitative and qualitative data. In addition, you will have experience working with stakeholders from the private and public sectors.
